For the sake of realizing the increase in age of marriage, women's empowerment and Community Agency (BPPM) DIY conduct campaigns Increase the age of Marriage (PUP). The activity entitled "Don't Hurry to Get Marry" jazzed up with a talk show, videography, display Art Festival of student ambassadors "Genre" DIY, exhibition booths and from various institutions and stakeholders BPPM DIY. Among them are the regional Kemenag of Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, BKKBN PKBI, CB Bethesda, BKKP and KB Regency/City of DIY, as well as various other nongovernmental organizations that deal with the problems of women and children in DIY including Rifka Annisa Women’s Crisis Center.
After the signing of the Declaration of the juvenile petition DIY, Sultan expressed pride over this activity. The activity rate of the Sultan is very useful for the realization of the young generation. "The young generation is the agent of change, must have a clear vision and mission, the brilliant ideas, so will the pace of future seeds that are able to fix the problems of the nation," said the Governor of Yogyakarta.
Furthermore, the Sultan stressed that it is important for all sides to do the protection to children from early marriage. Because marriage is a relationship born inner will effect great for psychic condition. Less prepared teenagers in caring for and raising the child, the nature of the ego that sometimes can not be controlled, physical conditions that are not yet quite ready thus make early marriage be full of risks. Therefore it takes maturity both physically and psychic to be ready to perform weddings.
Families, especially where both parents need to instill moral values in order that a child gets enough attention and understanding. The moral values and include preparing for the physical, psychological, mental, social, and economic issues. It is also reasonably capable of supporting the creation of a quality family.
